We love Mountain Munchies! Every time we either order by phone or in person, the service is friendly and efficient. Our orders have always been prepared correctly, food is fresh and delicious and their menu is great!

Ordered 3 sandwiches to go. When we got there the bag the sandwiches was so heavy that I thought we might have gotten the wrong order. Nope, they are just that big. So tasty. I had the mountaineer on a squaw roll and it was enough for three people. So impressed. We'll be back!!!

A staple place in BB! I love Mountain munchies! From everything they offer, I will take them all! With that said, we came here a while back during Tour de Big Bear. Whenever we are in BB we always make sure to stop by this place to get our food at least once! We got the grilled chicken salad, which, so good!! Their grilled chicken here is juicy and a bit crispy on some edges, so good, very different from the usual dried out grilled chicken on most salad! Then my bf and his parents got different kinds of sandwiches and they were huge and so yummy! Staff were very friendly and there is always a line to either dine in or for takeouts so be patient!

At this restaurant everything is delicious here we had clam chowder is only on Fridays and a sandwich for dinner. Today (Saturday), we had breakfast. Becareful when she asks, "If you want full or half," if you like a lot, get the full. The sammich & clam chowder is a full. The service is absolutely amazing nice people here.

Great quantity, good quality, good value. Came here for a takeout lunch while all my friends and I were visiting Big Bear. Expecting expensive prices and small quantities I was slightly surprised by the large quantity of food I got. Ultimately the lunch costed around $20 bucks but I was very satisfied with the meal I got. Salisbury Steak: Umami, rich, filling, hefty. The Salisbury Steak dinner came with a big ground beef patty, mashed potatoes, and green beans topped with a thick gravy that included mushrooms and onions. I was looking for something for value and had a lot of protein and this hit both my check marks. I was extremely satisfied with my order and would recommend this for anyone who is trying to meet their protein macros! Side Salad: Light, citrusy, refreshing. The side salad was honestly unremarkable. The vinaigrette wasn't anything necessarily special and the salad included a bunch of lettuce and some tomato slices. It's nice as an add on to help you feel a bit more full but it's nothing to write home about. The line here was long and it took maybe half an hour close to 45 minutes to order and get our food. The employees were quick with the service and did not disappoint. There was a dining area which had a nice classic American diner aesthetic but we didn't end up dining in.

This restaurant is a perfect case of 4/5 stars. Very good food, solid selection, good enough service, nothing is amazing. I ordered the BLT and thoroughly enjoyed it. Others in my group got an omelette, waffles, and a meat loaf sandwich, all very enjoyable. Service was a little slow, but these days it feels like every restaurant is under-staffed. Certainly worth coming back to, and even recommending.

We were up in Big Bear today to do some work on the house and stopped here to refuel. My Chicken sandwich (bunny burger) was delicious!! And the side salad I substituted instead of fries was super tasty as well. We called in a phone order when we were leaving home and it was ready by the time we got there! Everyone is always so friendly here whenever we come in!!

Go to spot for comforting diner food! We've been here twice now and both times were great experiences. Service- 5/5: everyone working here is so friendly! Even on busy hectic days they're always so kind, attentive and patient. Love the vibe here. Feels like family. Munchie mountain burger- 4.5/5: holy cow their burgers are stacked! Could definitely split it with two people. Fresh delicious ingredients. They don't skimp on the avocado! I got my burger with beer battered fries and they were perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Side of ranch was good! Country fried steak- 5/5: I didn't get this but my husband loved it! He cleaned his whole plate and left nothing behind. Country burger- 5/5: got this the first time I visited and wow! One of the best western burgers I've had! It was also huge but it was so good I stuffed it all down. Hot turkey sandwich- 5/5: my husbands order the first time and he was in love! I also got to try it and it was phenomenal. Turkey was so soft, the gravy was so good. Also huge portions but he scarfed it all down. We left with extremely full but happy bellies. Definitely recommend this place!

I can't believe I hadn't reviewed my favorite spot in Big Bear! If you haven't been you're missing out. Portions are great and the food is fenomenal! Service is amazing and the staff are very kind and attentive. Last time my boo and I had to do a quick lunch during his break. They sat me down super quick and I was able to order and the food was out by the time my boo showed up. The place is always clean and I love seeing the history they share of big bear on their wall. Honestly all Cali American sandwiches and burgers this place is a must. Breakfasts are fire as well!
